Cleaning wedding dresses is a long and tedious process that can involve hours of cleaning and pressing, the first part of the process is to try and remove all grime from the bottom and any other stains that may be on the dress and this alone can take many hours of work.
After the spot-cleaning process, the dress will be dry-cleaned in a dry-cleaning machine on its own without any other garments once this cycle has finished the dry cleaner will inspect the dress for any remaining marks and if he thinks he can remove any remaining stains quite often this procedure is repeated in order to return the dress to the customer as clean as possible.
when the dry cleaner is satisfied with the cleaning process it is then passed on to a presser for pressing and depending on the layers and delicate fabric this also can take a long time to complete.
